Our youngest students learn the basics of Taekwondo in a playful and engaging way, focusing on coordination, motor skills, and following directions.
The Tiny Tiger's program is a 30-minute Saturday class specifically designed for 4–6 year old children.
Its core mission is to provide a safe environment where young learners can build confidence, coordination, respect, discipline, and focus.
The rotating curriculum balances foundational Taekwondo techniques (stances, punches, blocks, and basic kicks) with essential character development and life skills. Key focus areas include:
Discipline and Respect: Taught through basics like bowing, listening skills, and 'Freeze and Focus' drills.
Physical Coordination: Enhanced through footwork, balance drills, and obstacle courses.
Self-Control: Emphasized in controlled kicking exercises and non-contact sparring basics.
Practical Safety: Covered through basic self-defense moves like escaping wrist grabs and other basic defense.
The program uses engaging activities and simple techniques to help children develop persistence, confidence, and teamwork in a fun, short-duration format.
